Hi! I really like this, and I'd love it if you continued. I'd also love it if it were Aoshi/Misao. But not before he got yelled at for his selfishness at least once. _ So far as I can see you're writing style for fanfiction is very nice. Especially for a beginner. I'm really interested in a story like this, because I have such a hard time believing Misao is as genki and innocent as she's usually portrayed.

Thank you for all the time and effort you put into this story. Did you know this story is on the favorites lists of some of the best A/M authors in the fanfiction world?

Something you might want to keep in mind is that writing is about a lot more than externalizing your emotions, though that's a big part of it. You don't have to make it more if you don't want to. Externalizing emotions is really important anyway. You may not have been doing that in the first place, but that's the impression I get from the intensity of the emotion in this fic.

I guess you don't plan on continuing, because you haven't updated this year, but I'm going to put the story on my authors alert list just in case. _ Now to go check out your profile!

Like... yes, very much actually.

There is great potential in this fic. The starting is strong... and the baselines are prounounced. But it can very easily veer into another one of the cliche... hurt misao-consoling aoshi... fics, so be careful.

Development and pacing will be very important here... and i wudn't suggest an Aoshi/Misao... not initially atleast.

Anyway...can't wait to see wat happens next.

Misao envying the nobles gives her a deeper layer than most stories (even my own) portray. The part of her that is distinctly female and yearns to be feminine. Little details like that always make me so happy. How utterly sweet. I also liked Aoshi's apathy.

I find your first chapter really intriguing. I will definetly keep an eye out for more chapters. I like that Misao's personality is true to who she is (I mean I think she's smarter than some people think but she's still a fun, cheerful person) and that you are using a topic that many writers seems to pass by(the time she was taveling around looking for Aoshi and the others.) there's a lot of missed potential there. On the downside,I could see how this could be unintentionally similar to other plots of Misao having a dark secret, but I don't care, you story is descriptive and I'm interested to read how things will play out. Thanks for writing. :)
