You're not alone in one, loving and adoring dearEdmund, and two, in wondering what Aslan's words to him were after his rescue from Jadis. But why, of all the fics I've read delivering in their own versions of that certain conversation . . . this takes the prize! Well, at least, the prize of my enjoying it, 'cause really, what do I have and how do I give it to you? Haha! But ceriously, even if for the movie-verse only, this one summed it all up. Finally, Ed found Someone who's promises are just as sweet (if not sweeter) than Turkish Delight, but not fake. His love is real, never-ending, forgiving, and true; it comes from the heart. Not like the witch's empty words and actions. And of course, the love and forgiveness from his family also can't be topped by anything that Jadis has to offer! What a wonderful, lovely, piece! I read this years ago, back before I had an account, and I loved it then. Ive tried dozens of times to write this talk, but it's never come close to feeling right. This, however, is fantastic, and I'm so glad I found it again so I could review properly and add it to my favourites.

This is the best version of Aslan's conversation with Edmund that I've read. You did a really goo job of capturing the spirit of it: it's simple, and true, but nothing is overdone or over-explained. Thank you for writing this. :)

Fantastic! I've always wondered what was said between Edmund and Aslan and I think you nailed it:) Plus Edmund is my absolute favorite character from Narnia so this was very enjoyable me.

I loved how you wrote this. I have always wondered what Aslan would have said, and i think that you did an amazing job. when i read this, all i could think was that was how i would have pitchered it.
