That episode was foreshadowing how often Sam hurts Dean and how much anger Sam has toward him.

Sam is a terrible brother and that never changes.

Sam is so so aggravating as a character.

I hate Sam. And it’s a pattern through out the rest of the show Sam hurts Dean and feels no remorse. :(

I should of checked this story to see if it was finished before I read it. Really enjoyed it how you wrote the brothers.

Wow, I wish you had finished this. Once again, there's a lot of raw emotion in this chapter, a lot unresolved. The part about Dean wanting his Dad there but Sam being worried he wouldn't come really foreshadows a couple episodes later when that's exactly what happens. Ben is a great character, being so compassionate, trying to step in and be an older brother to Sam while Dean is incapacitated, though it bothers Sam to have someone other than Dean trying to fill that role. Great writing. I wish there was more to it than this.

This was really intense and emotional. I liked the interaction with Ben, how Sam immediately picks up on the fact that he's a brother just by how he acts, and then how Ben explains kinda how Dean feels because it turns out he is actually an older brother. And I love how Sam determines that he's not going to be weak anymore, and for him, that translates into "He will be Dean," because in his mind, his brother is the pinnacle of strength. Nicely done.

Wow. I love the push and pull between them in this chapter, Sam feeling like he *needs* to see Dean's injuries not just because Dean needs him to take care of them but because he's got to know how much damage he caused, while Dean feels like he needs to conceal it in order not to hurt Sam, knowing Sam is more sensitive. I'm glad Sam finally wins out, though; I like how you brought in their Dad's "Maslow-esque view on injuries" to get Dean to yield. I also really liked the part about Dean needing the pain to ground him and keep him real. Well done.

I loved this line: "Worrying about his health is not one of his favourite pastimes. Not like it is Sam's, anyway." You really capture how little concern Dean shows for himself, while Sam is always the one trying to make him take care of himself. I also really liked the bit about Sam determining to have a "long, endless chick flick moment" once Dean's in better shape. Sam's got a healthier idea of how to handle relationships than Dean does, and he knows they're going to have to talk it out eventually.

There was a lot of great back and forth between them throughout this chapter, in amongst the brotherly concern. I enjoyed that part. Seem like the next chapter's going to get much more serious, though...

I appreciate your showing us the aftermath of this episode; there's so much unresolved between them, and while the next episode definitely explores that tension, they never actually talk about this. Also, I have wondered about what that rock salt shell did to Dean's chest. So thanks for filling that gap. I like the repeated sentences in the two sections, how both of the brothers are feeling the same way and can't express that to each other. Nicely done.

When I noticed I was on chapter five I went oh well this is going to end quickly does dean die is everything an easy fix but it seems to be that the stories been abandoned whih hurts becuase it was so excellent maybe well get an update one day but for now all I can say is you have an amazing story here
