Well done! I loved loved loved the beginning! Honestly, I’ve had a Kenshin/POTO story in my head for years and this story has reinvented it for me, so I might go ahead and write it.
The ending was a bit sudden, because I really wanted to see more of a change in Kenshin, but it was still nicely written. Thank u for sharing!

Holy sheet this fanfic was SO awesome! It was real unique too! I'm not putting much else or you'd be reading forever xD I wish others wrote as great as this, too. It amused be greatly when Kenshin would act like he would in manga or anime, confused and speaking with that weird but cute way of his. Loved it all!

Long long long time no "see." I've been going through old fanfictions- I haven't read them in ages. I kind of stopped... I think around I entered college, who know it's been a while. But I got curious again I suppose. Let me tell you it surprised me when I saw my name in some of the dedication parts, haha.

I just wanted to say thank you, and I enjoyed reading this one again.

Angle1 this is a amazing story. this is my 2 time reading it and i am having trouble deciding wether i like your version or the original charactors better. i really like this story.

Two major drawbacks to this story for me:

1) Not a POTO fan. Friends are, so I'm vaguely aware of the story. Also, two of the webcomics I like have characters from it, so I was willing to give it a go.

2) Domestic violence is a hot button issue for me. If he hits you, get the hell out. It's an easy rule to say, but not so easy to implement. The reason is usually similar to Kaoru's- she usually believes that he'll stop being such a monster and that underneath he's really a wonderful guy. With the backstory you've given Kenshin, there's reason to doubt her.

So why did I read it? I love your writing. Simple as that.

At the end, despite those 2 major drawbacks, I cheered! Did he rid himself of his beastly side? No way to know, but he's doing right by his friends and Kaoru seems as happy as he is. Works for me.

I'm working my way through your other works as well. Did I mention that I enjoy your writing style and storytelling ability? Well, I do.

After reading 'Buying A Baby,' I stumbled upon this story and I must say, IT IS AWESOME! The blend between POTO and Kenshin is perfect. I also love that we got to see the progression of Kenshin and Kaoru's relationship from Kaoru is younger instead of starting in the present with Kenshin already in love with her. I'll be looking at more of your stories, and probably adding them as favorites. :)

Wow. I loved it! I was amazed that you could even fit Kenshin and the Phantom of the Opera in the same sentence, but you managed to pull it off in a believable, well-written, breath-taking story. I was literally about to blow a fuze reading it, and I have to agree that you really send readers for a loop with the mood swings, but when you ended it the way you did, I was just in shock. Amazing! Just simply amazing! That was totally EPIC! Good work and great job on the suspence factor!

The only thing that I'd have to say that I didn't like was Saitou. I mean, he was just too stupid and naive even for me. But, despite that and some OCCness, you quite literally sweeped me off my feet.

I was pleasantly suprised. I didn't think PotO and Kenshin would go together very well, but they do! The only thing I don't really like so far is Kenshin's attitude, but I trust you in saying it gets better. Good job, by the way.
