This story is brilliant! I got a little down in the beginning because it seemed so dark, but these last two chapters especially have made me smile so hard my face hurts. The thought of the look on Malfoy's face if he found out Harry was out on his firebolt while he was crawling through filth trying to find him is hilarious! And Remus having to use a cane is awful, but could Hermione not write to the designer who made Harry's gloves and get him some trousers that have the same effect? At least if he's lame hen he transforms on a full moon he wont be able to chase anyone. I loved the interaction between Remus and Sirius too, more of that would be great. I know it was sirius who caused the silver poisoning by blowing up Dumbledore's shelf of junk, but why did Dumbledore lock them in his office in the first place? And the corporial soul potion is worrying, but will Harry be able to keep the darkness out like he did in this chapter, I don't really want to see him become another dark lord. I wonder if the dark mark on his chest is causing a lot of the trouble and it will all stop if Hermione finds a way to make it inert? I know Harry could never be the naive innocent little boy he used to be, but hopefully he won't be driven too far the other way. Anyway, thanks for all the emotions you've made me feel while reading this, I'm worn out, thats how i know something has been a worthwhile read. Hope to see more of this in the future.
