I lived and worked in Holy Loch, Scotland and the tempatures in the Highland can (And often do!) drop below freezing for several week at a time! Black Lake should have been covered by a sheet of ice. The champions and the hostiges stood a real chance of dieing of exposier. In WW II, sailiers were toled that their life expectency in North Atlantic waters during winter was TEN MINETS! The change in Hermione's age (Making her one year younger.) is minor and should only upset the purests. Don't like this, read the books. Personaly, I like this story so far. |
