So I'm not nearly as good at leaving well-rounded reviews as you are, but I'll try my best because I really did enjoy your fic! I'm Kaeda from LJ btw, although I'm sure you figured that out.

I really liked story and I thought it was delightful. The characterizations were really excellent, and the way you brought in deep, heavy sort of themes like religion and the death of Hughes really rounded the story out. I liked Hawkeye's musings on how ordinary Havoc is, and it was really nice to see her realize what a great guy he truly could be for her. I always want Riza to be happy :). Havoc's characterizations are great, too. And I really like your writing style, although I can't really put my finger on why, exactly. Something about it just totally appeals to me!

All in all, your writing is excellent and I just really suck at actually giving concrit! Havoc/Hawkeye is such a great pairing!

What an excellently written story! I really enjoyed reading this, and not just b/c I love HavocxHawkeye!

Their mutual ponderings of God and His provision were very believable and well done. It's so hard to portray thoughts on faith in a story without being either preachy or trite. You avoid both very nicely.

Seeing Jean through Riza's eyes was a wonderful treat. His awkward gestures of gallantry were touching and I loved his little fantasy at the end!

I love it! Such a sweet pairing, especially compared to the smut usually found on this site. YOu're a diamond in the rough. Just watch how long your sentences get. Those run-ons are hard to catch sometimes. Great descriptions. Very talented. Kudos!

This was a very well done story. Although I'm not familiar with the FMA-universe, I felt as if I understood it better for having read this fic. Havoc's point of view regarding faith and his own ambivalence towards it was thought-provoking, and Hawkeye's insights into Havoc were touching. The way you made these two come alive really caught my attention, and it did not waver once during my reading. It seems like you really hit your stride during Hawkeye's point of view, and consequently that was the part that worked the most. The ending was cute, and I laughed at the last line-keep pushing the line, Havoc!

Thanks for writing something that even a passing reader with little knowledge of FMA can read, understand, and empathize with; I'm really hoping you'll write more Havoc/Hawkeye!
