So much angst for poor Misao :( but I live how she just loves Soujiro with all her heart and hope he comes back to her waiting arms soon. Especially since they have a son now. I can truly imagine mini Soujiro _ though having a precious baby girl might have grounded Soujiro more. This is meant to be a one shot but hopefully there will be a return!

Poor Misao! Trust Kenshin to impart word of wisdom to try to snap her out of it.

I liked that you pointed out the changes in her wrought by motherhood and adulthood. Misao can't be a genki weasilgirl forever, and her maturity in realizing her role in Soujiro's life is a welcome change.

Oh my gosh, this made me so sad. Honestly, I'm all teary...this was just so beautifully written, so aching, so heartfelt and real...

I loved the way the past weaved in with the present, and how her friends were there for her, and help her..otherwise, it would just be too heartbreaking.

You know, I wonder if this is completed or not? If it's ongoing, that'd be great. I'd love to see another chapter, like Soujiro coming back...

Wow, that was very dark, yet sweet. Sweet as in the moments between Soujiro and Misao, and the scene between Kenshin and Misao. I really liked little Osamu-chan. But my favorite was how you potrayed Soujiro so excellently. I'm afraid I haven't been able to do that yet.

I was a little confused on the whole Kaoru/Aoshi relationship. I guess I'm just not into that pairing, but you did make them seem to fit together.
