I have a couple questions about things that don't flow with the other story. First, how does Ginny have a four year old when harry and Hermione didn't even know they were together until after tonks died and for that matter it was July before they were engaged. Second, I thought Hermione's parents couldn't have any more children, and that would be something Hermione wrote to harry when he was under cover BC she would have had to have been pregnant before tonks if Erin is younger than Diana. Also the scene where harry was putting tonks in storage was really good in conveying the emotions being felt by everyone.

Poor Tonks, but I can see Harry's POV as well... :-(

Nice and in many ways just as sweet and tender as the main story, but surely more strenuous to all people involved. The idea that little baby Erin was anxious because everybody around her was so nervous with the situation and Harry and Hermione traipsed around that little tiny small last step of full commitment somehow closes off the whole tale in a perfect way and it feels truly like christmas, although it's pure luck i've discovered this (through a recommendation of the main story in fantasyra's "Done a Runner" which really makes me wonder about the relative small amount of favs and reviews both your stories earned in almost a decade. Sad that some pearls stay so little appreaciated on this website!) right around the christmas time :)

I loved Ties that Bind Us, and this as well. My only critique in this is that you have Neville and Ginny with a four year old when Erin is sixth months...but in the story they didn't even get together until midway through the year during which the original Ties story takes place. At most she would be pregnant at this point.

A really good one shot with an emotional but happy ending :)

but I gotta say that you stated in the last story that Ginny and Nevill had just begun their dating only months before Erin was born... how can their kid be 4 years old then?
