great start to the story. I love marauders era stories. one thing that bothers me though is that the names of the parents are changed. James's parents are Dorea and Charlus and Sirius's are Cygnus and Walburga

So she died in the Potter"s place. What a sacrifice to make.

Thanks for writing. I must say though, I think this needs an epilogue :)

I know you've already finished this story but I just was confused on the years... You currently have the date set in July of 1978 and at the end of the chapter you say she has three years left when in reality she only has just over a year if you go by cannon which is Hermione being born in September of 1979

James’ parents were Fleamont and Euphemia Potter and Sirius’ parents were Orion and Walburga Black. I don’t know why this bugs me so much that you didn’t use their real names. I usually like OC but not something that is a fact that easily can be googled. It really killed the story for me.

I’m not good at reviews but very interesting start. Definitely hooked and looking forward to the next chapter.
