Oh I loved this story so much. Happy and sad tears, just a beautiful story I loved it. It's now in my favorites. I love the Haunted Mansion! It's my favorite movie and ride at Disney. I'm so glad people gave stories based on everyone's favorite ride. What a ending! Forgiveness prevailed! I loved it, you did an amazing job. Will be rereading it again and in the mere future. Great Story! Hope you never delete did Leota want George dead/ hostage?

I stumbled across this while poking around the Haunted Mansion tag for the site outta curiously and I wanna write a Haunted Mansion fic for Nano this year, wanting to get the out line done in advance (don't worry; it will be far different from this and will be my own thing). I'm glad I found this since it is really great and is leagues better then the old movie based on the ride.

This story gave off a strong Gravity Falls/Nightmare Before Christmas vibe, which are things I love to death. Destiny is a strong lead. The ghosts are great, all having a ton of charm to them. I find it interesting that you made Leota the antagonist...unexpected, but it fits well. Koji is a loveable character! The awkward romance between Destiny and Dustin is adorable. I admit the fact Dustin didn't know his last name reminded me of yugioh. xD As a side note, while I know this fic finished long before this show premiered, when you said the name Mabel in one of the chapters I thought of Mabel Pines from Gravity Falls. xD

My only complaint is that you didn't give a psychical description for Destiny. I was confused about what she looked like. The only tidbit is that she shares traits with Gracey, but that's it. I kind wish there was a bit more to go by.

Other then, this is a fantastic fic.

I know that I have left a review on this story before, but I would just like to say that this is literally my favorite fanfiction on this entire website. I love it, and I love the characters. I have read it multiple times, and I hope that you pursue at least some form of a career in writing. I have no idea if you will ever see this message, but I would like to thank you for writing this glorious fanfiction. It is amazing, the plot is amazing, and you are amazing. I will never forget this story, and I it will always get a chuckle out of me as I step out of the attraction in Disney World and see the tombstones with the names "Dustin T. Dust" and "Bea" on them. I am currently 18 now, and I loved your story so much that at one time I even named my mother's car "Bea" (it was a beautiful black and shiny KIA that looked like a doom-buggy) in honor of your fic that I have always gushed about to my Disney-obsessed mother for years, but she will never read this... And that is her loss. Anyway, if you see this, then I hope that you are having a wonderful life, and I wish you all of the happiness in the world. I will always remember this story, and I will continue to read it for many years to come. (:

While I have not been to either Disney theme park, I saw a ride through video of the Haunted Mansion and got interested in some of the fan ideas that have been thrown around regarding the characters. That's when I discovered your story. It was very, very addicting and you balanced everything out really well. Your OCs are very realistic,I laughed at some of the jokes, and the ending was a bit of a surprise to me. This was-well, the stories beyond great and if I could give you 999 thumbs up, I would! :D. This was very enjoyable and makes me want to go to Disneyland or Disney World to experience the actual ride for myself.

One more note: Yes I did see the movie based on the ride. No, it was not the best Disney movie but I still liked it.

This is amazing so far! The Haunted Mansion is one of my favorite rides and Disney World (aside from Splash and Thunder Mountains...oh! And Pirates!). This story is definitely an orginal, although I have to ask, is the name "Gracey" taken from the movie? I feel like it is, but I'm not sure. Anyway, I'll continue reading this later when I have more time. Thanks for posting this!
