| InkandPaper chapter 7 . 12/18/2006 Well, the key thing must be because he's the heir :) Nice work, though there is some odd phrasing - not sure if they were typos. Just little things like: "Ron spoke, “Do you think it belonged to your parents, then?”" it sounds a bit stilted, if you know what I mean. Otherwise, the dialogue sounds very JK Rowling-ish! "“I’ve already told you!” Harry replied, a bit put off." ... very like Rowling ... okay I'm rambling and randomly quoting so I'll stop, but good work, and nice to know you're back. |

| InkandPaper chapter 4 . 6/10/2006 Okay this review is for Chapters 1, 2 and 3 as well since for some reason it just wouldn't let me submit one: First, I think this is great! I'm usually wary of reading other people's Book 7s, since I'm trying to write one too and I don't really want to be influenced by other people's ideas. (But this one is fine, it's completely different from mine.) You've taken the romance a lot further! I'm worrying about that last para in chapter 2 - such a vivid moment for them, I wonder if Voldemort's somehow going to see that memory and use it against him (shiver)... I also like the dialogue between Harry and co. it all sounds very natural, and flows. Good job. Chapter 4 yes, it was short, but that doesn't matter, it fulfilled its purpose! I think it's good. |
