Great story! I really enjoyed reading it.

I'm finding this hard to read what with Sam so engrossed in self pity-Dean was a 4 year old yet was able to take care of Sam. What's so hard? He doesn't have to change diapers, doesn't have to feed him or take him to school. And yet he can't even answer a few simple questions without falling apart. What's so hard about saying they were on a road trip? I hope this gets better!

I wanted to inform you that Sam and Dean don't know vampires are real yet.

This was a most excellent story...and you really found a way to plumb the depths of these two guys who may fuss and feud and avoid cjick flick moments at all costs, but bottom line? They each really give a damn the most when it comes down to it, for the other. Wonderful story and thank you so much for writing and sharing it!

Heartbreakingly, achingly beatiful writing, so touching, so tragic...having to relive those memories. This story is made all the more difficult yet grippingly real for me, because this happened for real to my family. Not my brother, but my father actually disappeared from work and was missing for a couple of days because he had fallen, hit his head, lost his memory, and wandered away from work and home winding up in a hospital over three hundred and sixty miles away from our home in a suburb of Chicago, winding up in Peoria, Il. So we've lived through this...my family..and my dad. The amazing thing was the whole time my dad was missing he was writing a poem about his experience, from the inside of an amnesiac looking out. It like this story of yours is a gripping read! Thanks for sharing your tale with us!
