Well, it is a little bit different, but beside of that, this one-shot is very good. I read the sequel "Dying Garlands" on OR to and I must admitis very good too. No, it is much better. You should post it on too. I'm sure, many of your reviewes of this one-shot will read and love "Dying Garlands" too.

Great, this one is awesome. I love it. I love how alicia is so flawed...she isnt perfect, y'know? I love the last few paragraphs. It makes me want to read more. Too bad its a one-shot. Then again, more would probably ruin it.

Hi! Read this, went onto Overcoming rivalry and read the sequel, only problem is that I don't have an account on that site so here you are; a review of both stories at once.

This is not your steryotypical Alicia Spinnet story, the odd thing is that I could see her doing it. The danger, and all of that.

I liked both stories, although I have to confess I usually stick to canon parings.

I like it. I didn't think i would when i started but its different and interesting. It is better than other one shots ive read. Its a good length and it doesent seem unfinished even though i want to know what happens next. Good work. Lexie-potter

Also, I really liked seeing to see Alicia portrayed as something else than a good girl. For some reason thats what people always portray her that way. I guess its partly bacause you portrayed her like that in Old Faces, though.

I actually read this yesterday, but didn't have time to review. So here we are!

I must say, this is a really wonderful first chapter. I loved how you sort of dive right in, rather than a bunch of meaningless first chapters that don't progress. Everything is nicely set up for the rest of the fic, and the characters are established, but still unpredictable. I mean, we have a definite sense of who they are, but they are still complex and mysterious in certain ways. And I'm sure having fun imagining all the trouble Alicia is getting herself into! Can't wait to find out more! I also love the whole concept of post-Voldemort trouble with Death Eaters. It's something that's not often explored, and I can tell you're going to do a good job with it.

Most of all, I love how you've portrayed Alicia. I guess that's the beauty of minor characters, you have more freedom with how you want to write them. I've noticed some distinct differences in your characterizations of her in your different fics. In this one, I love her flaws. She has a rebellious streak, but she's still Gryffindor enough to feel somewhat guilty about the things she does. It's a nice combination, and I'm interested to see how she handles her whole Warrington situation. Anyway, great job.

So that reminded me of the movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
