creativesm75 chapter 5 . 11/20/2016 very good. |
Ash N Brock chapter 5 . 1/19/2016 I love this story! I really like how you've written it, and it really moved me! How Envy bit by bit was taken over by Ed was good, blurring the line between the two individuals. So great how you pre-empted the Ling bit too! haha I much prefer the second ending, for all the points that you gave in your A/N. I think Ed would def put Al first for everything, and would use Envy for his own ends if it really came down to it. I think he'd look for a way to become human too and release the souls... He might even find a way for Envy & himself to exist separately (if I were creative enough, I would have divined a solution to that!)! He would definitely give Envy a run for his money in terms of control over Envy's body & win. Also, for the 1st ending, I'm not sure that the other's would have let Envy live? perhaps after demonstrating he was more like Ed and less like Envy. I think Mustang would have tried to incinerate him a few times, though. Have you ever thought of writing another story based on this (not necessarily following the ending)? There is potential :) BTW your psychobabble was interesting & so nice to hear your reasoning. I hope you don't mind a review on a story you wrote 10 years ago now and psychobabble from a reviewer! I saw from your bio page that you're still writing FMA fics, which is so nice to see :) |
Gamma Cavy chapter 5 . 9/10/2014 I like this ending better, ending 2. I always thought that any homunculus that tried to absorb Ed would wind up taken over by him. |
TrisakAminawn chapter 5 . 12/18/2013 Hmn. I like them both. I'm glad there are two. Having made a passing reference to the fact that Envy's father is technically Ed's older brother in my previous review makes me want to bring that in, and consider the Ed-Envy-thing in terms of it. Somehow stealing Envy is a little more heinous if you think of him as a part of their family. Of course, the Father plot fell by the wayside since it wasn't done when you wrote this...also Edvy murdered the Fuhrer and got away with it. o.o |
TrisakAminawn chapter 1 . 12/18/2013 Well, that's insane. Envy, you have literally gone insane. Congratulations, Dead Ed. You are rapidly creating an uncle/nephew hybrid Edvy thing. Also, Ling knows exactly what you are. He can feel homunculi, remember? |
The Cinderninja chapter 5 . 12/7/2013 I had to read the second ending twice to understand it properly, but once I did... The second ending is did rely my favourite I think. Like you said, it is the "happier" of the two... in its own ways. It's also almost creepier. I dunno. I jut really liked it. In any case, the first ending made me actually /cry/. Haven't done that in a while. The second ending have me weird chills but I also liked it just... so much more. heh. Dash |
RezzKat chapter 5 . 8/14/2013 And I can see this happening too. Especially adter your explanation I can see both endings being playsible and both have their "happy" (I use that term loosely) and sad points But I think personally that you're right, they both add something to the story and I like them both. Thank you for writing |
RezzKat chapter 4 . 8/14/2013 Oh my god. That hit me right in the feels. I didn't really think about how being Edward for so long would affect Envy... It's a very interesting way to think of it. I suppose I should read the second ending too, huh? Great story in general though (sorry for being too lazy to review each chapter indvidually) |
arhangle chapter 2 . 2/10/2013 this is up! |
mabidiso chapter 5 . 10/3/2012 This was the most disquieting, amazing, heart breaking story. WOW! |
Aisukuri-Mu Studio chapter 5 . 9/27/2012 Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah I love this. ;.; SO much. Excellent emotion-I was totally enraptured, gripped by it all! (hug hug) Excellent, excellent! |
sapphireswimming chapter 5 . 9/8/2012 Hmm. This one is very different than the first ending. It completely changed the feel of the story, but I think it also fits. I can see it happening- like you said, Al always comes first. And Ed deserves a bit more time. Even if he has to sacrifice someone who's been a part of him for years now and renege on his promises. |
sapphireswimming chapter 4 . 9/8/2012 Oh wow. I liked this a lot. So emotional. It was crazy seeing how much he changed back when his task was done and how much Envy wanted to take joy in his triumph at the end, only then to realize how everything had gone wrong for him and how he liked these people and he wanted them to like him back but they never could because of what he had done. Envy to the end. |
sapphireswimming chapter 3 . 9/8/2012 Whoa. That was such an intense chapter. I wasn't expecting half of it, but I really like the way it's coming along and Ed is taking control again. |
sapphireswimming chapter 2 . 9/8/2012 Ah, I like how they're drawing together a little bit more here, blending into each other more than either wanted or hoped for... |
