I like the story, but the timeline feels off. Her adored fiancé has been dead only three months, and Hermione is sending another man notes saying she’ll wait for him? Honestly, I couldn’t believe it when her friends started asking her if she was ready to date again. If that Yule Ball had been an end of year ball, it would have been far less jarring.

I love this story, but your denials of Hermione being a Mary Sue are too funny! Only the writer of a Mary Sue would deny their character is one. She is like the poster child for a Mary Sue. There is no denying it. Foibles aside, she is practically perfect in every way, and I, for one, love it. However, her status as a Mary Sue does not take anything away from the enjoyment of this story. My ideal Hermione is the best at everything, and I love how you write Snape. Your plot and characters are intriguing, and the story is equally humorous and heart warming. Don’t let the haters get you down. It would be worse if you got no attention at all. Thank you for sharing this delightful tale!
