13 years later and I'm still as die-hard of a Clerith as I was when I was a kid. Their relationship truly blew me away, and like you said, in the credit scene of FF7 AC, Cloud riding his motorcycle through lots of places and the last area he was shown was Aerith's flowerfield, with Aerith waiting for him.

It's truly a fairytale. Tifa is just needier and came on too strong for me, she couldn't understand Cloud as good as Aerith did.

Very lovely story, made me feel all warm and fuzzy. The only downside was the use of random Japanese words, I did understand them, but as the rest is written in English, I believe it'd be best to leave them out.

it was a bit confusing when you suddenly went from third person to first person and then switched it to third person again.

This story makes so much freakin sense. Its true to Cloud and Aerith's relationship in AC. Just because Aerith's dead it doesn't mean she's gone. Throughout AC, her spirit was there with him, talking to him, supporting him. And at the end of AC, Cloud realizes that her spirit will always be with him so I expect that their bond would only grow stronger after the events of AC.

You captured their beautiful relationship so well. And while I couldnt really buy the Vincent/Tifa thing, she's closer to Barret or even Johnny, this story was very realistic.

I've honestly never cared for Tifa. I felt Aeris brought out the best in Cloud in the game. He'd smile around her, she pushed him off guard. Tifa came on too strong for me...it was very sad to see her die, we all bawled:my dad,my sister and myself.

I adore the idea that he's with her even if she's not there. I squealed when she gave him the final push.

But I absolutely refuse to go tifa/cloud merely as she's not there. Nope, no way.

This was brilliantly crafted, I really liked how you admitted to the likely notion of Cloud considering Tifa, but eventually finding that he loved Aeris still. Because, though I hate to face it (I am a big Cloud/Aeris fan), there is potential. So kudos for you for nodding to that, but maintaining Cloud and Aeris' relationship!

You are great, and your story is too. Definitely putting this on my favourites list!

Uhm, you got Aerith CORRECT, that other reviewer doesn't know what he/she is talking about. It's a Japanese game so it's ONLY logical that if they spelled it as "Aerith" it's more correct than Aeris.

I am American though, so I got used to Aeris. Anyway - Of course I didn't agree with the logic behind your story, for I think Tifa and Cloud make a better couple. And that other reviewer stated that she was "needy" - Hello! Cloud? the NEEDIEST of all characters, I mean WTF?

Cloud being all angsty is just so damn over done. I wish you would have stuck to your fluff, but whatever, the story was well written and I respect that even though I don't respect the pairing. Toodles.

You spelled "Aerith" wrong, it's Aeris, the JP translation is wrong too, I noticed that. Great Fic anyways :D I always liked the idea of Cloud and Aeris together, Tiff. just seem too needy for Cloud and they look more like siblings.
