...Why is it that the current show most deserving of being Star Trek isn't *called* Star Trek?

Oh! I'm so dumb. The whole time I'm thinking this power is familiar to me and I could not place it at all. I was thinking a supernatural Sherlock Holmes, which is close to being right, but I couldn't name her. The way she can somehow derive the details from a glance, body language, tone of voice, word choice, timing details, etc is just way better than Sherlock because he needs concrete details. It was absolutely wonderful to read.

I like your interpretation of Dumbledore; he's a stubborn old man who doesn't like to admit when he's wrong, but he has good intentions(and before anyone talks about roads to hell, good intentions are the long and twisted back road; the direct path is all downhill and gold-paved), tries to see the best in everyone and really doesn't want to see anyone hurt.

Still makes him an annoying old coot though.
