Day of deaths is my favoritr holiday (I'm mexican). The setting was perfect and the story, beautiful.
I reallt like the way Rouge expresses her thoughts aroynd Shadow's death (well, sort of). And the altar for unknow people... that was just heart-warming.

The Day of the Dead has always been such a beautiful holiday. On that note, you managed to combine a wonderful celebration and a Sonic Character so perfectly, you made it look as easy as breathing air. Usually, whenever someone tries to mesh together holidays and videogame characters, it comes out choppy, awkward, and much too cliche. It's already been done. This was written superbly well, and one could almost visually see the feast for the dead, the night sky and its billions of stars. I have always imagined Rouge the Bat's past in a similar way, considering how know one knows her story. That she was a stone-cold fighter then and would always be. I too would like to think that in Shadow the Hedgehog's supposed death in Sonic Adventure 2, that it slowly began to bring down the invisible walls she had built so long ago for herself, even if not for anyone else, but for him.

You know, shadow is still ALIVE! Haven't you ever played sonic heroes, shadow the hedgehog or sonic the hedgehog 2006?(thats alot of hedgehogs) But anyway, good story. AND SHADOW IS ALIVE! JUST PLAY THOSE GAMES!

That was really good. I liked it. This story shows so little but yet so much Shadouge. It's the kind of story you could really get lost in. Nice job!

well, very nicely done! I vaguely knew that the dia de los muertos existed and what it was basically about, but i still loved the deatils. are the angelitos unborn children or just children that died before they could become adults?

a really good idea using that holiday for a bit of shadow fanfiction...I _think_ you got a little bit off-course in the last paragraphs that were more about rouges past than about her present or her relationship to shadow. not that good for a one-shot thats supposed to center around *one* idea, but more suited for a multi-chapter fic that picks up on many things.

anyway, the last scenes of sa2b were very touchingly rewritten in rouges POV. liked it a lot. this was written before sonic heroes, right? and the idea with the ring was nice, too, although i thought rouge might have hesitated a little bit more to give it away if it was so important to her.

all in all, very nice work!

I think Shadow is real so why else would anyone get a golden braclet? Well, maybe they wanted it. Good job on the detail and whell, you did a great job! :)
