| Butterfree chapter 1 . 11/8/2008 Awesome fanfiction! I loved the Luffy and Ace brotherly bond; though the fact that Luffy was still so alive by the time Ace woke up was a little strange. If you remember that Arc with Arlong when Luffy was thrown into the water and stayed there for about 1 and a half episodes, it took forever to get him conscious again (I guess he could've just recently fell though). Anyways, I did like the idea of Luffy not actually being able to swim before he ate the Gomu Gomu fruit. I can definetly imagine the 7/8-year old Luffy doing that sort of thing. Also, the narration in some parts was very unique. Just by not actually reading the story, the part when Ace was bringing Luffy up seemed to just be bad grammer, but it had an accent on it that suited the situation.
