Interesting story. I liked the other crash survivors being in the story I enjoyed it but was disappointed after 56 chapters it was cut off with no resolution. You already put so much work into it.

Phillip is a narcissistic a-hole. I know the type unfortunatelyI married onethe CXO type who convinced me over 4 years he loved me and was someone he isn't. (Divorced now, thank goodness.) I found out they can be abusive on many levels, lie, are all about their needs and ego and resent anything of anyone (including kids) that divert your attention from them. I thought Phillip would lose it on Kate when he either found out she is getting closer to Jack or she tries to break up with him. He's a total narcissist. They put on a mask, shower you with love, attention, gifts, but the mask comes off either once they have you, you try to get rid of them or expose their wretched behavior. Kate would be a "trophy" to him and he would hate anything that takes her time from him including Emma. Kids are just collateral damage to them. They want total control and to grind a person down in the relationship to gain it. Injuries, danger, etc. cause Kate and Jack to show their true feelings for each other. I figured it Phillip lost it on Kate, Jack and Sawyer together would go after him for revenge and keep him away. Narcissists can be sociopaths too and will stalk whoever they assaulting or trying to keep. They also cheat, keeping optioned on the side.

I really hope you finish it someday. This story is begging for Jate resolution with a helping of a few years later at the end. It may just take a few more chapters, or more since you add such interesting scenes and details for other characters. You've done so well on this! I couldn't stop reading once I started.

I really loved this story overall. Very nicely written.
I loved all the characters, especially the lovely Emma. To read the interactions between Jack and his baby girl made my day, because I really love Jack Shephard as a daddy and I think he proved to be a great, loving and sweet daddy in canon as well (Aaron, David...)
I really enjoyed the romance too. I liked Sawyer/Claire pairing a lot, even though I didn't believe they could be good for each other at first.
When it comes to Kate's choice, I was incredibly confused about her reasons for doing what she did. Only a man like Jack (such a selfless, caring and incredibly kind-hearted person) would be able to forgive so quickly an act like that. But I also believe she's deeply in love with Jack and she should break up with that awful guy Phil ASAP.
That said, I don't know if you're still around for reading reviews and stuff, but I really thank you for writing and sharing your stories. You're a brilliant author and I enjoyed your works a lot! Thanks xoxo

Too bad you stopped writing just when the things were becoming so exciting... you know, you really need to come back and write an epilogue...
