I just had to create an account to tell you that this story has been one of the reasons I still go back to the Suikoden fanfiction area. I would like to say it is a great story and wonderfully written, as well as to offer encouragement to please continue and finish this fantastic take.

I hope it was the True Fire Rune and not the True Earth Rune Geddoe managed to grab. Not just to re-light some passion in Hugo(aside from what seeing Chris did) but it would be rather awkward to give Sasarai his Rune back when his army is still marching.

That crafty Yun! And, whereas the True Fire Rune played with Hugo's emotions, is the True Water Rune sealing Chris'? Yuber vs Hugo, the final round, will be a must-see. And lastly, "My Hugo". Yep- Chris is going to be in for a shock.

The stakes keep on rising. And Hugo is finally coming back with a vengeance! Can't wait for the payoff :D thanks for the awesome update!

Came home from work and found a third new chapter in a week, thanks! Things definitely seem to becoming to a head. I can't tell if the end is coming or if this is the second chapter and we are only approaching the last stretch.

Whenever I see an update to this, my faith in humanity is restored just a little bit.
