this is absolutely gorgeous. the way you portrayed merry's feelings as a ship with a soul is absolutely spot on, and at the end it broke my heart because although merry is happy, we might not see him ever again.

Very original- I've never read a fic about The Going Merry before and I loved how you protrayed it. It's nakama (fighting and stuggling alongside everyone else)... and you made it seem like a living, breathing one, even though in reality, it's a ship.

Well, I don't know the category, so I don't really know much about the character, although I gather it's a ship from this. It was really well written, no matter what category ya put it in! I loved the descriptions! It was amazing! Keep up the great work! ~ Cyraxis
