Um, is that really supposed to be the ending? :-) Nice action scenes, though. Even if you can't have a happy ending, some sort of resolution to something would be nice!

I'm going to say that this is the longest chapter...though it should be, and yes I am sad that such a great story ended but "better loved and lost rather than never loved at all" it was a great story and I thank you for that..

Oh now you *can't* leave us on that! Thats not an ending, it's a set up for a sequal!

Not for pickyness. You have different people different lines, but now their actions need to be on the same lines as their words. Otherwise we get confused (I figured out your system and it got easier, but still...)

This is one of the best fanfic's i 've read so far! keep up the good work._

I finally read the whole thing . . . it was a little difficult wading through some of the confusing conversations (which person is saying what?) and misspellings/grammar errors (you might want to consider a beta reader or something), but you have a great concept. I like the idea of something that finally makes Motoko show some emotion, and you described some great battle scenes.

I shouldn't have read Simple Beginnings first, though, because you had most of it in here as flashbacks, so it was a little redundant. Also, it seemed a little redundant when you had flashbacks multiple times by just copying and pasting in the same text.

Motoko going and talking to Mayuka's ghost reminded me a lot of Fei in Xenogears . . . that was really well-done. I wonder what will become of Yukiko, though . . .

Good to see more of Kurutan; we always kind of wonder what the Major's friends are like.
