Like, Paulina should've totally had bubblegum pink scales, no matter what! I don't care about any of her other features except for her elemental breath. She should breath out a glittering teal cloud of noxious, poisonous gas. Here's the thing, though; I SAY poisonous &, technically, it is, but only if a person is stupid enough to stand in it for hours on end. Otherwise, it just smells like REALLY loud, cheap perfume & makes your voice sound like one of the Chipmunks. In other words, it's stinky helium...

Though, Sam, I think, should've been given dark violet or ultramarine scales with black spines & smooth ivory impala horns... As for her elemental breath... I'm thinking that Sam is JUST epic enough of a character that she should get to have the Night Fury plasma shot of awesomeness...

Something just seems cheap about the idea that everyone turns into the exact same dragon when using the amulet.

I honestly never thought of it like that. Good point. "Parental Bonding" is my favorite episode, and this is a fine alternate ending.
