I always enjoy a good Hiko-Kenshin moment. Kenshin’s determination pushiing him beyond his limits even at ten captures his spirit well. I love that he got to see Hiko’s approval before it was hidden and the charming ending where you see they both have a moment of pride and dare I say affection.

This is a good short story. I thought it was appropriate for the two characters.

Awe, this one is so sweet! I can definately see Ken-san skipping out on lunch to practice a technique. And even more so Hiko approving of his baka deshi and not showing it. Funny pair, aren't they?
