So perfect, the mirror reflection of the first 2 chapters. Dean pretending to be asleep, and Sam checking on him, both of their thoughts about their brother, and things they are going through. Have to admit, didn't see the pep pills from Dean. Great job!

awwwww... love this - Dean's side to what just happened with Sam. And I know the pills! They're sleeping pills for SAM! Dean ain't gonna tell him, cause he's gonna drug Sam to sleep for his own good!

Really loving this - Sammy's thoughts as he's trying to stay awake yet pretending to be asleep for Dean. And warms my heart that Dean keeps checking on Sam, and turning up the heat, and slowing down the curves, and turning down the music...

I loved that line. I think you've got me hooked.

Each time I read this fic, I see it a little differently. At first I didn't care for the acts they're still putting on for each other at the end, as if all they've gone through in the interim didn't help at all. But in their own way, they're both healing and doing better. I like the symmetry of their problems and of wanting to help each other and the distance between them that doesn't always make it easy. Very interesting piece.
