This is very interesting!

This fic totally wins the first place for an original idea in the FF7 fandom in my personal rating, because there are just too many time travel fics and really no one (from what I've read so far) came up with the idea of Zack forced to befriend Sephiroth. And what I love even more is that it came from such a skillful writer as you. I'm sucker for more than good characterisation and reading YDHTWA, I'm appeased throroughly - I really like that Sephiroth here is a lot more dysfunctional than in most fics and that Zack has an instinct for self-preservation of an average person. It makes him so much real.
The only downside of this fic is that chapter 11 bored me to hell, but I don't like reading action-packed parts much. It's probably the matter of preference.
I'd love to help you with a court-martial law, but I don't know much and I think you'd prefer information from your own country. I wish you lots of inspiration for this fic even after all this years. Please, know that there are still readers hoping for updates. I've already re-read this a few times. :)

Interesting tale. I sincerely hope that Zack gets through this ok. That Akira's a bit of a bastard.

It's interesting to see Zack's interactions with Sephiroth and the other firsts, and to see how much the others see and what they think about what's happening.

This is one of my favorite FF7 stories. I have to own up and tell you - when I've been working on my own fanfiction, I've been coming back here to look at the writing for ideas to make my own better. Not plot or character or whatever, but style. Your story is one of the most well-written pleasures to read on this site.

This is awesome. You do well all the stuff that I haven't been able to get myself to do very much of at all - descriptions for everyone and everything, and descriptions that add to the impression of the character, rather than just be there for the sake of being there. Characters have realistic reactions and perspectives, everything flows well, and the plot grabs you and drags you under 'til you cease to notice the writing itself because you are paying too much attention to the story.

Been a while since you updatd, but I've been off at summer training...was quite happy to see your message in my inbox. Akira is turning to be quite an interesting character in his own right and not just the friendly asian dude.

But Zack didn't really kill him...in a way. It seems like he sort of used Zack to kill himself. Zack even called a warning. If Akira really saw everything then wouldn't he know that?
