Aww! What an awesome story! So romantic! I love the idea of Oishi's Eiji-dar. Your writing and dialogue are so IC, and Eiji and Oishi being a Golden Pair in academics as well as tennis is adorable. I like that they're not going to the same college-it's a bit more realistic, I think, because as far as I can tell they have different goals in life career-wise. I have so many favorite lines in this: "If you want to assert independence, you should at least choose a subject you’re good at, like biology. Not asking for help with math would be like playing a match without me." "It shouldn’t have surprised him, he realized almost immediately, to open the door and find Oishi there looking worried." Oishi is so prince-charming. He needs a heroic 'Here I come to save the day!' soundtrack. I like this fic as a fluffy slice of Eiji and Oishi's life, a moment in time where the only thing they have to worry about is school, and together they can get through anything. Maybe that's what people like about this pair. It's so optimistic and hopeful, and it makes me smile. It's nice to see a couple for which being excellent friends that occasionally sleep in the same bed is 'more than enough,' because what are the odds of two teenage boys /not/ being obsessed with sex? It's brilliant that you write these guys and I don't go, "Huh? There's no sexual tension between these two teenage boys? Are they mutants?" but instead go, "Aw! That is so like them!" Because it is.

This one is lovely! I would not regret to stay up late to read this one. Both Oishi and Eiji are being natural shonen in a relationship that is beyond friendship and close to love. Very interesting and original.
