Wow. So dark and intense. I enjoyed the addictive need and the corrupted sensuality. The ending is chilling to the bone; there are so many wicked turns in the story one doesn’t know who is really pulling the strings. Very well done - certainly dark and controversial - but kudos for a courageous and well written story.

I absolutely love this story. I’ve been fan of the Star Wars films practically all my life (I’m not far from 30), but I had never really been into the fandom side of it until fairly recently. I first discovered your story about two years ago and it has ruined me in such a good way. I can’t get enough of Luke/Vader and Star Wars in general because this story made me want to be more than just a casual fan.

Sadly, the pairing is rare (and I fully understand the reasons why), but I always re-read this story when nothing else can quite sate my need. I’ve read it quite a few times over the past couple of years, but I never left a review because I just didn’t know what to say. I don’t even know if you check the reviews anymore, but I wanted to thank you for this fanfic.

It’s not just one of my favorite Luke/Vader fanfics, but one of my favorite fanfics in general. It has a decently slow build-up to the sexual climax (ha), which is great because I can never get enough of slow-burn romance(?), and the plot is good too. I enjoy Luke’s descent into darkness while keeping some of his ideals of the light, and Vader’s confusion on whether he is the one in control or if Luke has more influence over him than he thinks (or wants). I honestly think you have reflected their personalities quite well. Plus, that twist at the end… It’s golden. I don’t fully know where it might lead, and I know that there will never be a sequel, but it certainly piques my imagination.

So, even if you never read this review, thank you for this story and thank you for being an early Luke/Vader writer. You’ve definitely enriched my fandom experience.

The Sex in this story between Vader and Luke really threw me for a loop. I've been reading SW fan fiction for months and never read something quite like this. I also liked Luke's longing towards his father in the beginning and a insight into his loneliness. So often I read about Luke's resistance to anything Vader tries to get him to do - so this was a refreshing change.

I gather that this was published a long time ago, but I love it so much, I'm compelled to review it, regardless.

I think I'd physically regret about not reviewing this, because it was simply so well-done. I was captivated the entire way, and I love how you handled such mature themes. There wasn't a part I found uninteresting-all the images you create are vivid, and the believably is immense, due to the fact that it's so perfectly aligned with the movie.
You write so well-everything is up to scratch. The imagery is so clear, and it's long but fast paced, drawing out the moments of emotion making it and easy to read and understand.
The ending really threw me for a curve ball. Alongside Luke, I also feel as if I have been manipulated by your story.
It's an awesomely dark read, and I'm giving myself a headache trying to think of something you could improve- kudos to you!
