While this was definitely a big Naruto cliche back when this was written, I haven't stumbled across a fic that covered "Naruto tells Sasuke about the Kyuubi" specifically in so long that it felt like a breath of fresh air, lol. Honestly I miss this cliche and only wish I'd enjoyed the reveal half as much in the actual manga as I did here. One shots like this are some of my favorites (as in little moments between friends), and this was a nice read. You write the characters just as I remember them. I'm glad I found your old fics!

This is a really interesting idea you had, especially considering that we now know how Hashirama and Madara met.

aaaww, this was very nice, i love reading about Naruto and Sasuke's tumultuous friendship and rivalry and how their problems and lives are compared and just bromance, man. I mean, they're not at that level yet, but this was just the starting point of it growing for the better. The poor things have had and lived harsh, cruel, unfair lives and if they were allowed or were shown or something, of how similar they were, they could have such a powerful duo a long time ago. but no. so many things and people HAD to get in the way and Kishimoto said, "F that. I'm gonna make it ten times harder for them and make them take longer roads with shit ton more of obstacles and twists."
Anyways, I hope that longer larger story this and the other are a part of happens sometime soon, if it hasn't already, because I like your writing and the way you tell a story.

it really makes me think about what sasuke always says in canon compared to his inner train of thought...
and Naruto probably should have been more depressed to make Sasuke act comradely xD

This makes me think of (WARNING: PRETTY DECENT MANGA SPOILERS WHICH ARE KIND OF IMPORTANT IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT OR REALLY CARE!) when Madara and Hashirama were friends as kids and they would always secretly get together and talk while skipping stones. :)

awesomely written... the plot was great. i LOVED it. especially the part where naruto asked Sasuke if he hated him... that was touching. and Sasuke actually comforting Naruto was very warm... Nice job!

Ohh, I really, really love this one-shot. I always was a sucker for a fic where Sasuke, Sakura, or any of the other nine rookies found out about the Kyuubi being sealed in Naruto and this was just done so well! The characterizations were so lovely and guh! I swear you just have a way with words. 3

I'll admit, I was tearing up when I read this. The thought of Naruto being so afraid of rejection, something he's always dealt with but not in this same regard when it comes to Sasuke, and how that acceptance just turns everything around. The part with Itachi was sad, because he really did love Sasuke and was a good older brother to him until Danzo's orders.

very well done. I love this kind of writing, so IC that it actually could have happened. Sasuke's perpetual grumpiness, and his difficulty with emotional expression, was superb.
