The main character sounds like an irritating brat who believes the world revolves around herself... If my child ever got a c it shows that they either are not trying hard enough or do not understand what they are being taught, I would ground them to get them to focus on understanding their lessons more, and if they ever yelled at me like that I would whoop their ass. Children need to learn respect and to know that knowledge is power seriously if you act like this you are part of the few percent that needed to have spankings as a child then be sent to boot camp or on volunteer trips to learn how horrible you are...
