*laughs* Cute. I presume the word limit was part of the challenge? I just wonder whether part of the awkward phrasing in the beginning ("early coming night" and "per norm") was because of that. The end was also a little sudden; a reaction from Yugi to Yami's final line would make it cuter/funnier/more "finished"-feeling, I think. There's a pretty sudden mood change in that last line, and that only really works if the mood change is towards humor, which that kind of was, but not entirely. It still feels a little unfinished to me, in any case.

Cute idea, though. I loved the worried Yami; he's such a sweetie. The writing was generally good and the characterizations were pretty standard. While this isn't going on my Favorites list, I do like the imagery of it. Maybe I'll think about it a bit as I'm falling asleep tonight. That could be very cute. _
