I was a bit confused when I began reading the first three or so paragraphs and I could have sworn I had read those exact words just 4 or so months prior-turns out I was right. But, good job. Keep writing and good luck with your studies.

Hi there! first off i have to say that i'm definately NOT a inuyasha fan. I like manga and anime ... but quite frankly the characters in inuyasha just didn't appeal to me what-so-ever. HOWEVER, part because i had read a recommendation of your fic on soompi, and part coz i'm so bored, i decided to give it try..

boy oh boy was i glad i did! i'm loving your fic. chap XX had me enthralled and glued to my chair. First off i'm glad it's set in the USA and not in the same type of vein as the orginal manga/anime. The characters i totally adore. Kag is a character that you just have to love and hate. i totally crack up at her responses and all the stuff that sprouts out of her mouth. And Inuyahsa ... what can i say . whilst reading your fic, i had come to develope a totally different image of inuyasha in my head... the man sounds so god damn sexy that i think i fancy myself in love. hahaha.

anyways i like the way you write. the way you write and describe what your characters feel and say makes it seem as if they're there at the scene watching it all unfold right in front of them. your characters have come t life in my head and it's actually better than any drama that i could be watching at the momment. and believe you me that's a total compliment coz i L.O.V.E watching dramas! :D

I have just concluded reading this story.

As a patron of this site long before my listed date would imply, I have read and staggering number of different flavors of Inu Yasha fan fictions. I have written but five or so reviews of stories mainly through a feeling of obligation.

This review however is hardly a case and point.

At points I wasn't been able to pull breath as I couldn't manage to read fast enough. I had tears streaming down my face to the point of physically leaving my post before the computer. I was angry at many choices made because of my absolute seduction of your writing mastery. The command you displayed over the characterizations and the nuances of their personalities, your wit and everything about the story line itself was enough reaffirmation for me to continue to observe this community if only to find gems of this caliber for every hundred and more poorly thought out, "who-ever-could-in-their drunkest-stupor-conceive-this-abysmal-shit" shame to the name fan fiction, I often come across.

Please do not reply, continue writing.

I have never liked reading so much, this fanfiction was really something! And with Kagome telling the story, emotion was very strong when she found out about her kidnapping. It was frustrating not to have Inuyasha's thoughts, but somehow, it was better. I think every reader became Kagome while reading this :)
