Hairypotter4real chapter 1 . 2/19/2019 Um Houston we have a problem |
pineapple-express96 chapter 1 . 7/18/2011 For me, your stories will always collectively be the H/Hr "bible" of the fandom, and definitely the greatest fanfics that I've encountered. You capture exactly how I see their relationship, as well as the general elements of adventure and discovery which are the core of the series. I honestly find myself loving your characters - Napoleon, Laura, Allegra, the Master, the Guardian, etc. - more than some of the original characters. It's been an epic journey. Thanks for sharing it with us. |
Starlite1 chapter 1 . 11/21/2008 Dear Lori, Can I just say that I began reading this fic in one of my very first forays into the world of fanfiction, and ít's always held a very special place in my heart. Having just been over on Schnoogle, and having read that last chapter, you've pretty much had me cheering with the sheer awesomeness of it, and crying at the sad fact that never again will I see an ad on tv for the screening of one of the movies and thinking "stuff it, i'm going to go read Paradigm again instead," and finding out there's another chapter and squee-ing over it with my friend who first brought me into your world. From start to finish, this has been a hell of a journey, one that I feel deeply honoured that you shared with us. I loved how you justified your actions throughout the entire story arc, how everything's purpose was either hidden in plain sight or tied up neatly like a complex but beautiful piece of lace tapestry. Napoleon and Laura were brilliant, and the way they seemed to have always been there gave everything the feel of a great family that was perfect in the imperfections you wrought into their lives. You made me believe in your entire creation and love it even moreso for the tangibility that you gave it. I think that over the years this fic has seen me express every emotion on the planet. Every emotion that Harry and his cohorts have felt, you've inflicted upon us in its exquisite glory. As such I'd like to say thank you so much for giving me such a wonderful window into the world of fanfiction, and a passion for this world and genre that I still have nearly six years later. I'm sad that you've decided to leave this behind, but I am still thankful for the brilliance that you have been able to give us already, and for the knowledge of what the eventual conclusion would have been. All the best, and thank you once more, Starlite1 |
EuphemiaD chapter 1 . 8/16/2008 Hi Lori, I read all of these on Schnoogle years ago but now I just figured out that it used to be on too so I have just added this story and STNE to my favorite lists. And I had to let you know that I read PoU eight times and I still love it. There are only two fanfics that I ever read more than once and this is definitely one of them. I cannot even express in words how much I enjoyed reading this. Thank you so much for writing! |
Leima chapter 1 . 4/9/2007 Oi! I'm a member of the Phoenix Feather Competition mailing list. This list nominates reads and judges Harry Potter fan fiction. Your story The Paradigm of Uncertainty was entered in the romance-het category of the completed fictions. I'm contacting you to let you know that this story was judged best in this category! Normally I'd mail you but I can't find an e-mail address for you so I'm contacting you like this. Mail me if you'd like to receive the award gliph that has been made for you. Sorry you're not getting this notice earlier but the list owner vanished after compiling the scores so when I made the gliphs they were never sent out months ago when they should have been! Leima |
The Brat Prince chapter 1 . 5/3/2006 Ah, is there any way to read this fic without joining the yahoo group? I found out about it based on yethro's fanart at deviantart, and I'm interested in reading it...I just can't say that I'm keen on joining any type of yahoo group. It won't let me look at the files if I'm not a member. ~Jondy~ |
King Dimension chapter 1 . 1/20/2005 Great story. |
Susannah chapter 1 . 8/25/2004 I read this fic actually years ago and have only now been able to track it down. For me, this is the fanfic to start and end all fanfiction. Ever. Like one of the other reviewers i too will put this on my favourites list just because everyone should be able to read it. It makes all the mediocre fiction out there worth reading/writing/reviewing methinks - that sounds pretty dramatic i know - but seriously i can't express how many time i read this story on my very first harry potter fan fiction discovery. So also a big thank you! xx Susannah xx |
otinam chapter 1 . 8/8/2004 Lori, I have to say that when i started to read this i was kind of sceptical. This is only because my friend rights fic and i didn't want to find anything that was better than hers, and i didn't think that anything could even match it. I'm sad to say that yours definately did! It was so freaking amazing! keep at it, and althouhg i have only read the Paradigm of Uncertainty i just can't wait to read the others that you have written...THanks...its inspiring! |
lljaneth chapter 1 . 8/3/2004 Havnt been able to get a message through to you for some reason so think this may be the only way possible, if this works that is... anyway, I know you probably get this a lot but…you stories are the best fanfiction I have ever read. Seriously, they're amazing. Recommending them to half the planet (my little planet anyway) as we speak. I'd love to read anything you publish knowing I'm not in for disappointment, lol stuff like that probably puts a lot of pressure on you huh? Well if it does, don't worry I'm positive they'll be great. You even made me accept and love the possibility of a relationship between Harry and Hermione which I'd never thought was such a good idea, until now. I've noticed you refer to fanfiction in the yahoo website as fanfiction for adults, now that's just mean, I mean how can you possibly aim your stories for adults and in doing so depriving us older teens (nearly 16) from such amazing stories? But I forgive you on the grounds that your such a great writer ;) . Also, saw the photograph of your parent's house on your autobiographical website-gotta say-gorgeous house. Anyway, sorry for taking so much of your time, just thought you should know you're appreciated. Now get back to that story! Can't believe you ended it there…dying to know what happens! Looking forward to your next chapter! Janeth (London, UK) p.s love all the characters (though The Master's a littlefreaky...but I'm sure that’s how he's meant to be) |
Guest chapter 1 . 11/7/2002 all i can say is wow your stories are wonderful, keep writing |
tippin1 chapter 1 . 10/19/2002 wow. |
piratequeen chapter 1 . 9/19/2001 I know this story isn't on this site anymore but I felt the need to add it to my favorites list so people could follow the link to where it is. This is the story that got me into HP fanfic and I firmly believe it is just as good, if not better in some parts, then everything her goddess, has written. |
Jabroniette chapter 1 . 8/26/2001 Call me stupid, but I don't know what "blacklisted" means. *sadly puts on duncecap* Anyway, sorry to see you go... I will have to read PoU sometime, I've been putting it off because I'm fiercely anti-H/H. However, I did read "Draco Dormiens" and enjoyed it very much, so I will read your stuff... sometime. And the "new archive" (AKA Fiction Alley) is awesome! |
dancing queen chapter 1 . 8/23/2001 Man, you have just written one of the greatest fan fiction I have ever read in a long time. YOU ARE AMAZING! This story is really mysterious and it makes you think, and you are still able to add romance (H/H is the very best!). and your characters have very distinct personalities, which makes your writing even more interesting! So pleeeezzze keep writing HP fan fics no matter what. K? You are very talented! |
