OOooohh, so many wonderful aspects to this story. From first class whumpage to angst and very clever dialogue. Some scenes are still making me smile as I type this. Carson to Rodney: "What do you know, you poncy Canadian git"
Rodney's attempts at psychology and his wonderful offerings of wisdom.
You nailed Sheppard so well when he came to Ronon's room to discover the wreckage. But above it all is the sadness and inevitability of the fate of the child. Really well done!

This was a WONDERFUL story. I cried and laughed and then cried again for dear Carson. Thanks so much.

I have been remiss in not telling you how much I enjoyed this story. Your characterizations are spot on; the relationships are wonderfully drawn, and the situation Carson is in both before and after his rescue is both unique and believable. Rodney's refusal to go away and their conversation in the messhall could have been a scene from the show-and Ronon jumping in on the effort to get Carson drunk and Sheppard's lack of sympathy the next day both left me laughing. ("McKay wins for both quantity and quality." ROFLOL!) All in all, one of the best "team-fics" out there; guys being guys and coping emotionally the way most guys do-they don't. ;-) Very, very well done!

Oh yes, magic stuff. Rodney, what a total pain. You use him like a well-sharpened tool. Radek, hehe! Interesting therapy! Rodney's offer to translate between Carson and the military is BRILLIANT! Pointy head - ha! Touchy feelies - good one. Dex in the mix, this is going to be good...

Woah. Punch in the guts there. I mean, everyhting was going great, loved the cosmic blender bit, let's go offworld more, all nice and all, and then BAM. Carson loses it, like he really would I know, totally awesome outburst, really cutting and full of self-loathing. Phew. Sheer brilliance.
