Okay, all of these chapters have been utterly hilarious (I *love* and much prefer your characterization of Eileen; it's so fresh), and I understand what you mean about having trouble with updating, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who will be waiting for the magical little e-mail that says you've uploaded chapter 17.

Whe! (sorry for the incohererence, but its so good to see this series back in circulation)

Generous dollops of irony and dry wit made this a riveting entry. How did Eileen get Guatamalian coffee when money is so tight? won't the RSPCA get back at you for the cruel treatment of moggies?

On a more serious note, is 'on-dit' correct? I've heard of tit-bit for gossip bot not o-d.

I love this idea. The one-sidedness of it is absolutely the right tack to take. The wry, slightly smug tone of Eileen's letters is spot-on, I think.

I love this story. It is so strange to think of Snape as having a (in comparison) normal family. The anecdotes from Snape's childhood are great. I can truly see a young Snape trying to train Sparkle as a feline attack dog.
