Eclectic Me chapter 4 . 12/16/2019 Thank you. I prefer tasteful fades to black. I mean, we know they love each other. No need to hear the details of what body parts go where. Once you separate out the romance, which you've already done beautifully, that's pretty much all a sex scene is. And yes, I feel that way about all fandoms. |
Eclectic Me chapter 3 . 12/4/2019 I wanted to wait 'til the end, and I haven't yet checked your profile to determine if you're even still active here, but I just couldn't wait even one more chapter to tell you how much I'm loving this! I'm fairly new to the fandom and after checking out the top couple of pages of this section, I decided to go back and see what was popular back in the beginning. My, but a lot of it is so angsty. Not surprising, as it is an angsty series, but it's still good to see some of whatever passes for romance between them, and even a little light-heartedness, while still staying true and respectful to the characters. So this chapter was a bit...well, messier. I can handle that. Heck, I wouldn't be a fan if I couldn't. Everything he does he still does out of love, or something like it. But is a human heart really big enough for two? Wait, what am I saying? lol And is Clarice ready for that? And will Clarice be okay with this? Though saying this, I realize she may have had a taste in Hannibal the movie. I haven't seen the movie in almost 20 years, so I may have forgotten something. Anyway, if you read this, thanks for sharing your talent! |
ManuscriptMaiden21 chapter 6 . 1/4/2016 Ah, I was right, I did enjoy this. Quite thoroughly, by the way. I know you wrote this a long time ago, but the humor, gore, and, hell, romance is still perfectly on point. Excellent work, my friend. (William the Conqueror, huh? I knew two girls. One had a crush on Napoleon, and the other had it bad for Calvin Coolidge). |
ManuscriptMaiden21 chapter 5 . 1/4/2016 That hurt, but it was well-executed. Poor Ardelia, but...well, let's hope Mr. and "Mrs." Lecter escape soon. |
ManuscriptMaiden21 chapter 1 . 1/4/2016 Ooooh, you were right! Clarice is a riot when she's plastered, and Dr. Lecter's little jig was even better. I can tell I'm going to like this. ;) |
The Dark One Rising chapter 6 . 11/12/2015 I'm getting a Bonnie and Clyde vibe from those two. Am I the only one? |
The Dark One Rising chapter 5 . 11/12/2015 People are just being killed left and right. This chapter sbdwers my questions from the last. It could have been dealt with so much better than this. No doubt, Clarice will be in trouble. They are probably more inclined to belive her an accomplice than a captive. |
The Dark One Rising chapter 4 . 11/12/2015 Actually, how are those two going to deal with Crawford? Lecter isn't sloppy, and I doubt Starling would be a suspect. Still, there is always a chance she may be linked to it. Also, wasn't Crawford already dead, for about two years? |
The Dark One Rising chapter 3 . 11/12/2015 Come now, Doctor. One knows that you're supposed to give your lover your own heart, not another's. I'm sure this is the height of romance and chivalry in Lefter's head: Dispose of lover's enemies, candle lit dinner, fancy clothing, good wine, etc. I'm not sure that's how it will be taken. |
The Dark One Rising chapter 2 . 11/11/2015 Unfortunately, I don't think Lecter studies will ever be an A-level, not will fic writing. They might one day be mentioned in passing, although I doubt scholars most want to acknowledge Fanfiction as a form of prose. I searched for an article about the girl accounts who sold cookies to Anthony Hopkins. I did not do so thoroughly. You may be interested to hear that, when "'Anthony Hopkins' Girl Scout cookies" is entered into Google, this chapter is one page 1 of the results. |
The Dark One Rising chapter 1 . 11/11/2015 You're right. Drunk Clarice was probably as fun to write as she was to read. Jackie boy is in for a surprise. As is Clarice, depending on just what Lecter intends to do to him. |
ImagineBagginsDragon chapter 6 . 7/21/2015 I know you wrote this, gosh, 14 years ago, but I just wanted you to know that I love it and I just got into The Silence of the Lambs. I know, I get into things a lot later than most. |
well.scrubbed.rube chapter 6 . 5/22/2015 I loved the burning heart reference at the end. Wonderful. |
well.scrubbed.rube chapter 1 . 5/22/2015 I can only picture "Dorror Leccer" doing a jig... This first chapter amused me soooooo much. I applaud you for the fact that I will never read "dr. Lecter" t he same way again. It will always be "Dorror". |
Guest chapter 6 . 7/24/2013 Fun to read this. Thanks. |
