Oh I love how you brought the movie story in here and gave Legolas some closure. Very well done. I can't tell you how much I love your characterizations of Legolas and Gimli!

I absolutely LOVED this chapter! Great stories and great camaraderie and bonding by the fellowship.

Love this story so far. It's great to get the details of their travels and the deeper characterizations of the Fellowship members.
I've often wondered when I have read this chapter in the book if Elrond was reluctant to have them take an oath based on his experiences with the Oath of Fëanor and the devastation that followed that.

I finally finished~

I have been reading on and off for a few years now and though I could read a whole story each day, this one in particular was so hard to reach it's end since I held it dear to my heart, I started it shortly after moving cities and away from my friends but now that I have reached another start after moving again after finishing university I have come to know that changes are not the end of the world and that friendship will never end when it's pure and real and now I have the courage to finish this story... because, there's always a new adventure to look forward and happy memories to look back at any time~

so, thank you so much for writing like you do and to write so much about a world that basically helped me trough dark times, I hope you are well and continue writing adventures for our favorite elf :3

You did not finish w Legolas & Gimli going to Valinor together per the book. That would of been the perfect ending... Perhaps Galadrial could of left something for Gimli w Arwen or even Celebrian which would be given later. He actually got it from Arwen tho didn't he?

Anyway, very interesting story (but extremely LONNNNNNNG).

This was absolutely lovely. A wonderful conclusion to a story I have enjoyed for at least a year or two now. I also think that the Star Trek reference was an excellent touch. Live long and prosper.
