Annie AR chapter 1 . 1/5 Wow, this story is so lovely! A beautifully-written one-shot that encapsulates perfectly Luke's personality as well as hinting to future happenings. And I felt so sad for both Obi-wan and the dragons, so... Good job with this. I don't even know if you still read comments for this - nearly 19 years, it has been such a long time! - but if you do, I wanted to thank you for writing and sharing this. :) |
MartinBlank96 chapter 1 . 9/13/2019 I came across this story once a long time ago(same galaxy though) around 2002, and I loved it so much I printed it out and just...kept it with me, through different jobs, moves, etc. I originally found it on 's fan fiction page as I am a huge Star Wars fan. I'm excited that I was able to find it again online, and I can't wait to let my girls read it too! (One of them is a huge SW and HP fan and wants to be a writer herself.) Hope you are doing well, and still writing! Thanks for your stories! I can't wait to read more. |
Guest chapter 1 . 1/9/2018 This is lovely! |
Seaside Fantasies chapter 1 . 4/19/2016 Oh, gosh. This story was simply amazing- everything from the characterization of Camie (I thought she was going to be a flat character who was kind of shoved into the background, so I was quite pleasantly surprised by how wrong I was) to the description of someone having to put on different faces to appeal to different aspects of society, and the way that Obi-Wan can see so much of both Anakin and Padme in Luke. From his compassion to his curiosity, and his struggle to do the right thing, both sides of his lineage are brought to the surface. This was a wonderful, heartfelt fanfic, and I look forward to seeing more from you! |
June Banks chapter 1 . 4/12/2016 Cute one shot! |
JediNic chapter 1 . 7/27/2012 You made me love Camie! And yeah, how awesome is Luke in this? So much love for him. :) |
AerinBrown chapter 1 . 8/31/2003 That was very like Luke, very...in character. I like the way that you overlap things, if that's the right way to put it; like thoughts and speech and memories and the present. It flows very well. Keep writing! |
Inarae chapter 1 . 5/9/2003 Aw. . . that was increadably sweet. And well written and deep as well, as always. Thanks for the read. |
jedilittlebee chapter 1 . 2/25/2003 Such a nice peek into Luke's early years. Girls can be like that-two faced because of peer pressure, some girls that is. I loved the part where Obi gets stuck with the babies for the next two years- such a soft touch. Not much different from Luke when all is said and done. Bravo! |
AquaRose chapter 1 . 12/1/2001 Fern... Thanks 4 being such a wonderful writer:) |
hydinplainsight chapter 1 . 7/11/2001 I really enjoy this story, each time I read it. An avid Luke fan, I would reccomend this to anyone. Which is coincidental since it was recommended to me by a friend. Anyway.. Loved it! |
Shloz chapter 1 . 4/17/2001 There's not much to say... this is just plain darned good. Your prose and characterization is superb, realistic and true to the saga. Keep it up, for all time! |
dead milkwoman chapter 1 . 3/24/2001 Jeez. I read your "Father's Heart" series on SWC a long time ago. We weren't giving the wonderful option of reviewing. I was too scared to write you an email singing your praises. I love the way your words flow. You have true talent and I hope you keep writing. |
Elizabeth Rouseau1 chapter 1 . 3/4/2001 Soooooooooo Sweet. Write more please. |
