I'm not entirely sure what she's upset about... What's happened? This is very well-written and a good fic in general, but I can't see what's upset her. Is something wrong with her appearance?

Great job on this. Even though you never really tell why Yuffie is sad you really feel for her. And you made Reno's action seem very convincing! Great job!

I really loved this. Beautiful, vivid imagery.

I liked the subtlety to this story, and that little piece about how Yuffie had liked bathing since young, and her little underwater adventures. (So sweet. And something I'd think she'd really like.) It took awhile before I managed to grasp the concept behind this, but yes. In the end, I think you've managed to capture Yuffie's emotions really well.

Reno's role in here was great, too. Like how he didn't say anything, instead of lying and telling her it'd be okay. And how he provided support and soothing words for Yuffie when she needed it most.

Though there wasn't much dialogue exchanged, I loved how you portrayed Reno and Yuffie's relationship. (: Kudos to you! I hope you keep it up.

Wow, I loved this peice a lot too. You have really amazing writing skills. It's awesome. I could picture everything even though I didn't know what Yuffie was crying about. It was beautifully written.

ZOMG I was just THINKING that I needed a good Reffie! This was so sad though, but as always, your pacing is perfect.

Hmm... for all that this is a story of mourning, it also seems to be one of coming-of-age and evolution. I'm not sure if you meant for it to be this way, but water in many ways evokes Wutai - not least its watery summon, Leviathan. The fact that she's leaving the water seems to indicate a rebirth of sorts, and what better arms to find herself in, hmm?

I enjoyed how you wrote their interaction; the kiss on the forehead, the ripples, her uneasiness - she's "out of her element" for once, you might say - and his unwillingness to lie to her... it's odd, seeing Reno as the responsible type, and faintly heartwrenching in conditions such as these.

Although you might want to check some of your syntax - I noted a couple tiny errors, but that's likely the English nerd in me coming out - the emotional impact and believability was very high.

Very emotional and well written, although it would be nice to know why Yuffie's so depressed. Maybe you could extend the story with another chapter? In any case, great work.
