I love that I thought it was a Ginny/Draco fic.

I find it interesting that the whole way through the fic I was thinking

'no Ginny, stay on the good side, Draco's not worth it,' ecetera, and then when I found out it was Pansy, I was like

'yay! go pansy! those are so the right reasons for you to change sides.'

You are so tricksy. Tricksy. You write so much Draco/Ginny, I fell right into the trap. Of course, this is the sort of fic that makes you re-read it... the best kind. A thousand points.

wow...i thought it was ginny and draco, but this is so much more interesting and effective. that she should give up all of the prejudices she'd been bred into believing, all the love she claims her parents gave her, and trade it in for the thing she'd been taught to despise is incredibly heartbreaking. while i'm not saying her previous life was good, it was her life and you made her transition truly heartfelt and sad, and it is a marvelous piece of work.

I was so completely expecting it to be one of the many Ginny / Draco fics out there, and wham! Awesome. Well-portrayed.

Generally loved all around.

I haven't been surprised by a story in a very, very long time. When I read the summary, I automatically assumed, Ginny/Draco. And even if I had ended up that way, I wouldn't have been disappointed. This was a shocker. I'd never have thought it would be Pansy, but I can understand how by the way you've written it. Very nice job.
