I enjoyed this, really well written. Lots of drama and miscommunication but it felt like everyone was getting back on track in the end. It was easy to see how Luke and Lorelai especially managed to talk at cross purposes for so long and Rory's email brought a bit of a year to my eye.

As a Glaswegian who went to uni in Stirling, including living there for 3 of the 4 years, I found all the Scottish stuff to be very good. I mean for all I know you might live across the street from me irl, but if you're not local, you did a great job with your research. Except for the fact that black pudding is actually delicious. I'm sorry, but that bit with them hating it wasn't realistic at all! (Seriously, the stuff fresh from the butcher is beautiful.)

I did particularly enjoy Luke's reaction to the sheep tracks and doglegs that constitute some of our most rural roads. I thought when Lorelai was worrying about the narrow B roads that they were in for a treat when they discovered the JOY of passing places! But I might have a bit of a cruel streak! And I properly laughed at the idea of TJ and Kirk running the old Skye ferry because I could absolutely see that. I think if I ever visit, I'll take the bridge! Thank you for emphasising Scotland's beauty, slightly downplaying the rain (which in all fairness isn't that bad in summer) and failing to mention the midges at all (those are pretty darn bad).

This is such an awesome story. Your details of Scotland were amazing and interesting. The dynamics of Like and Lorelai's relationship, insecurities and communication issues were spot on. I also enjoyed how much better you handled Rory's journey as well. Loved this version of their story so much better than the show. I hope you still see your reviews after so many years.

WOW… I’m almost at a loss of words, so impressed I am with this chapter. The part where Rory and Lorelai made up and got to talk about certain things. Even though they are not perfect, there’s finally an open road to get there when the time comes. But much more I liked the last part, in which Luke and Lorelai finally got to talk about their doubts, and clear them out of the way. The thoughtfulness of every word you wrote, the meaning, all I can really say is that this is very well written! You really made an amazing story out of this challenge, and I don’t think that anyone could have done a job like you did!

That was a wonderful story. I can't wait to read more from you. :)

Man. This story just shows how screwed up Luke and Lorelai are. Even in the final few chapters, they have doubts. The Tourguides view of scotland was different. Not very interesting, but different. This story also shows how screwed up Rory and Lorelai are. I always thought Rory was smart. So much so that the whole town carried on about it. It seems they were wrong.

Wow, amazing and very beautiful chapter. You definitely made me cry with Rory’s email. That was so well written. Hope to see something like that happen soon in the show! And as for the rest, Luke and Lorelai finally talking about where this is partially all about, great! Hopefully in the next chapter she goes home so that they can really talk and solve the ‘problems’ that are hanging between them now. For now, GREAT job!

i liked it alot. i loved the email rory sent lorelai it was so sweet. altho im not liking how lorelai is getting doubts about luke. i really liked this chapter tho and i cant wait to read more update soon please

Great job! I loved that Luke and LOrelai finally began to talk about whats bothering them. Also glad that Rory and Lor and starting to reconcile. Loved the e-mail. Great job!
