Heheheeheh! I don't know if that last part was part of the ACTUAL story, but damn was it funny! Plus, your reasoning behind Ranma's ignorance is quite sound. I'm not usually one for Nabiki/Ranma, but I think I'll give this one a try. Let's see where it goes.

It's truly too bad that your muse seems to have abandoned this fic. The hilarity value of this scenario cannot be denied. Kaede could easily be the 'sane friend' that Ranma so desperately needs.
Of course, I could see Kaede's interactions with the fiances. Akane freaks out in her overly violent manner, and gets tazed. Shampoo flips out and tries to remove the 'obstacle', and gets pepper sprayed. Ukyo would probably be okay with her, once she finds out that there is no actual romantic interest. After all, the 'night people' are staple customers of every street food stall owner, so she would have grown up around them.
Of course, this being Ranma 1/2, Ranma isn't going to be getting any sexual play. But I could see Kaede calling him up when a rival Yakuza group tries to move in on her place of business, her coworkers becoming interested in the hot guy (or girl, depending on the introduction and orientation). And, of course, there are the older workers with their stories.
All in all, I like what I've seen so far, and would definitely love to see more of this tale.

Please more of this. I actually want Ranma to end up with Nabiki or the hooker OC, haha. :D

This one seemed so much fun. It could use a few more chapters just to see how things unfold.

I was just waiting for your first Ranma/Nabiki/Kaede threesome. Ranma learns physical things really, really quickly. I could see that side of things coming easily to him.

There are tons of other things that you could have fun with though. I liked that Kaede was taking it more of as just an educational date. She actually has a right of being upset at Ranma for about not showing up. Of course it was all about Nabiki's fault for nearly talking him out of it.

It would be really funny if Kaede some how talked Ranma and Nabiki to work with her.
