Reviews for A HarryCho Drabble for Book 7
orangefingers chapter 1 . 4/23/2017
This was so beautiful, and it broke my heart, but I still loved it so much in the end. I wished JKR gave a little more light to Cho, because even as broken as she was, she was still loyal and openhearted to Harry, and she was willing to fight for him-for the good. Your addition really displayed her strong character value, and I simply loved it. Thanks for writing this amazing piece.

Noooo! the first part was great but then you killed Cho? and if they could travel through the veil, why didn't they save Sirius?

XxRaindr0pxX chapter 1 . 6/17/2012
Wow, this is just beautiful. You did really well on Cho's character and not only made her realistic but likable, and you did a great job with Hermione and Ron there. I loved the bit at the end, and the way you wrote the Land of Dead. Keep it up!
Marauder Neyo chapter 1 . 2/23/2012

Touching, sweet and well thought out. It's dementors that patronus's are used against, not inferi though. Keep writing

What a good idea, having the Chang!Butterflies vie against the chest monster!

Wow this actually made me cry. I loved it. God you're such a great writer, I can actually see this happening in Book 7. I hope it does. It was beautifully written and I loved it.
Minxie chapter 1 . 7/17/2007
Omg, dungeonwonk, your stories always have the most brilliant dialogue ever... And I always feel like I've learned something incredibly deep and meaningful after reading them. Excellent fic! :)

I had to comment on this:

"Bertha Jorkins said, 'Harry, it's all about hope.'"

For some reason, that line - so simple, but so poignant - instantly struck me; it's my favorite in your entire piece. Really, in any story, in reality, what do we have other than hope? In the myth of Prometheus and Pandora, hope is always there at the bottom of the box.

Loved your depiction of the world beyond the veil(all fog; it seemed, basically, a literal representation of how the afterlife appears to the living - mysterious and amorphous). I also liked Dumbledore's characterization - "Normally I hate repeating myself" somehow sounds quite like something he might say in canon - and Nigellus' sarcasm was spot-on!
aliceinmuggleland chapter 1 . 3/31/2006
Loved it too much to say. Brilliant work.
Chele chapter 1 . 2/16/2006
Oh, this was a simply sweet fic. Everything made sense and as I’ve said before, and I’ll say it again, I love your continuity (even when you tie your fics in with canon). This was so heartbreaking but beautiful. And if only JK Rowling would do something like this for the final book (if only to give Harry and Cho some closure other than being upset with each other), because quite honestly I do believe that Cho is Harry’s first love.
