e-pony chapter 1 . 12/20/2015 I miss you Strut. You were my best friend, and I will always miss you. Maybe you will meet me down by those old pine trees on your property someday. Until then, I'll keep going. Farewell. Pony |
Rescue45 chapter 1 . 3/24/2012 I usually don't read major character death stories but I liked this. I liked the ending. |
White Wolf1 chapter 1 . 3/30/2011 So emotional and so endearing. I love the way Starsky came to appreciate Hutch's gift and felt closest to him under that tree. I think this story demonstrates the true depth of their friendship, that not even death could separate them for long. Beautifully told. |
emeraldarrows chapter 1 . 12/9/2010 Powerful and beautiful. Just wonderful. |
Sally Ferrell Tyler TX chapter 1 . 8/21/2010 This is one of the best, if not the best, story I've read about "our guys". And I've read a lot in the past few weeks. It made me cry, but gave me a peaceful feeling, too. Thank you for this story. |
Prolix5 chapter 1 . 8/30/2009 I read a few emotional ones, but this time, I must confess: I'm out of tissues... Crying like a orphan. Both gone, both together again. Jeez, this moves me deep inside, I can't tell. Wonferful Muse of yours! Thank you so much for this story. |
Nova-chan chapter 1 . 7/20/2007 Oh that was so touching! I cried of happiness! Thank you for writing it! |
Lorraine chapter 1 . 10/19/2005 I don't usually like the stories where either one or the other dies, but this was an exception. Loved this story, it was very emotional. |
ruby chapter 1 . 9/2/2005 this is so well written you have made me thought about dying lies so true about our loved ones, missing them wishing they were still with very good. thank you |
e-pony chapter 1 . 8/30/2005 Already told you that I like this story, Strut, but here's a review for the record. A bittersweet tale, gently told. You almost make me hopeful of an afterlife. The direct style of writing, lacking unnecessary embellishments, is true to character. All in all, this is a nice tie-in to the series and a piece to inspire sorrowful reflection while still offering glimmers of hope. |

You really surprised me with this one. *SOB, SOB, SOB*... *walking away to get something to wipe away the tears.* This was a wonderful surprise to find. Death stories are always sad, but this ending was so sweet. Thanks for this one, I knew you could do it. Kreek. |
A-blackwinged-bird chapter 1 . 8/29/2005 *sniff* I love this on both counts: One, the awesome use of Hutch's *prank* gift, and two, the surprise ending that puts our boys back together again. Talk about a double whammy. Great job, Emily |
