Well! That was a fast update. You got us off that cliff quite swiftly. Thanks. I'm glad Christine wasn't too badly hurt, and I'm glad that Dupres isn't furious with her and therefore hasn't tried to harm her. Hopefully he won't. I'm sorry though that she's still within his property. She has really got to get out of there! I'm glad though that Erik noticed the direction her trail had taken and didn't go on to Paris to the Giry's. That would have lost him valuable time. I only hope that his insecurities are not going to get the better of him yet again and make him think that she's there voluntarily. I hope he will believe that she really is abducted against her will, though admittedly by her own foolishness.

Anyway, keep up the good work! Things are not out of the woods yet, and I can't wait to see them get there. Specifically, I can't wait to see Erik and Christine get back together at last.

So sorry for not commenting on the last chapter. I didn't check my email until this morning and got both chapters at once. I'm so glad you've started updating on this story again. I love it!

Anyway, great job. You still have a wonderful talent. I know this part of the story is important but I can't wait till you get Erik and Christine back together. It just belongs. Know what I mean? Woah! Cliffhanger! Almost literally!

It's good to see this story back in action after so long. I'm glad to see that Christine has come to feel guilt for running away like that. Not that she didn't have every right to be frightened by Erik's anger, and to want to go out for a while to let things cool down. But to run away completely like that was A uncalled for and, B, extremely foolish, especially to get in a coach with a complete stranger. Now look at the mess she's gotten herself into! I'm glad she had the nerve to kick him where she did. Good! The ass had that coming. I just hope she can get over that gate and get going before he catches her. What a moment to loose her nerve! Interesting twist, by the way, having Dupres know who she really is. Good thinking of her to have dropped her shoe like that for Erik to find, and thank goodness he did find it too.
