I actually liked you using the ending of the poem Footprints (something something..) But the image of Riza Hawkeye carrying Roy Mustang made me smirk abit. Hehe. Great job.

So very true - Riza would never become an "occassional accessory". She's Riza freakin' Hawkeye, and she's his right hand man - and so much more.

The part about "they both forgot their anniversary every year with unfailing consistency" made me chuckle - I could definitely see it happening. Infact, I could see Roy being the more sentimental one in this aspect than Riza, and actually having to remind _her_, which makes me laugh even more.

I enjoyed very much. Nice little insight that just _fits_.

I liked the use of "Footprints" at the end of the story. :)

I can imagine Riza keeping her maiden name rather than adopting her husband's name, especially when you put it so skillfully like that. :P Again, beautiful. The part at the end about the footsteps fit in very nicely. I thought it sounded a little familiar and you acknowledged that. It's just so ... kawaii. Well-written. Thank you!
