Hoe I loved this story. It was a LONG time since I visited FFN but I'm going to rectify that now and look for more stories by this wonderful author. My english is not up to expressing all tje reasons this was so good, just believe me and read it yourself.

Oh my! You've hit lots of great character notes all the way through here.

I was enthralled by this story from the first sentence. Loved IK's narration, the dialogue, the plot, the use of characters like Austin and Bond, and so much more. You can turn a great phrase and write hot sex scenes. Thanks for a wonderful read.

Read it all. Most impressed by the cohesiveness throughout the book. Loved the whole thing - - it had every wild and funny situation a MFU fan could ever want. Wow! I am going to sit down and read it again ...in a few days; I have to rest the "little gray cells" as Hercule would say. Thanks for a wonderful read. I have missed the boys...

PS: I loved the way you worked their contemporary "brothers and sisters" into the plot. Laughed really hard at the comedic bits (scared the hell out of my chihuahua!)
An Author's Pen chapter 55 . 6/13/2015
That was amazing. The premise was executed wonderfully, with an attention to detail that made the whole story work. Illya's perspective was just right - I particularly enjoyed his analytic approach to their situation in the early acts. The lack of car chases for most of the fic was not a problem - I wish more Man from UNCLE episodes had more introspection and less meaningless action. The car chases, when they did come, were a great vindication of Napoleon and Illya's alertness. The repeated calls to April were really funny. As I got nearer to the end I wondered how you would wrap it up, and I was not disappointed. All throughout the fic you show a world where the agencies are corrupt and distrustful - a world that still needs UNCLE.

The whole fic was a delight to read. The length is truly impressive :)

Fantastically exciting fic! I'm not super familiar with the canon, but you do the lost-in-time thing quite well and I like all the other spy cameos :)
SeenaC chapter 55 . 5/8/2012
That was a wonderful epic!

Loved every bit of it! I wanted it to never end.

And, I have a huge confession to make: I've never seen an entire episode of the original show. In spite of that, I found your plot and characters captivating.

Thanks so much for this fun read.
Terry Kay chapter 55 . 2/6/2012
Yes, I read all 55 chapters! Even stayed up way to late to finish it. Excellent! I really enjoyed it. Thank you!
irker chapter 55 . 10/6/2011
Wow! What a story. I loved all of it, from the 'avian' plot to the gentle unveiling of Napoleon and Illya's relationship and their transition to their new circumstances. And you do such a wonderful Illya first-person. Thank you so much for this completely awesome story.

This was very interesting tale. It seems fitting that the boys would be asked to resurrect UNCLE.

Thanks for sharing.

My fourth or fifth full read through of this story in the last few years and it's still as gripping as ever. The espionage is handled with aplomb and the lovemaking is handled tenderly, so it is a believable relationship, rather than poorly written porn, as slash so often is. Well done, and if UNCLE was still being written today, you'd walk into a writer's job! I hope you use your talents to create more fiction, and indeed, perhaps try to become a professional, as you are absolutely good enough!

Best Wishes

Remarkable story, so well-thought out and so many intricate details about different countries and political situations. I also loved all the name dropping you did. I didn't realize what you were doing until Mrs. Pollifax was mentioned, and then I started paying attention and googling the names that I didn't know :)

You also made me hungry with all your descriptions of different foods. I also had to google some of those.

Just lovely.
