That was absolutely, positively, and in every sense of the word, gorgeous.

You illustrated their characters so well, and let them play their parts to the fullest. You are an amazing writer; the way you portrayed them here, you could have given Tolkein a run for his money.

And now that I've finished, yet still haven't stopped crying, I'm off to find some chocoate pretzels. Amazing how fast those things can cheer you up.
